The mission of the Riverside High School Football program is to provide every player with a positive football experience. Each player should understand the importance of commitment, effort, responsibility, and teamwork. Each player will handle all victories with grace and handle all defeats with sportsmanship. • Players are students first, must stay academically eligible, and should strive to achieve academic excellence.

• Players must be responsible citizens of the school and the community and will represent the football program with pride.

• Players understand that football is a team game and everybody will have a role fulfilling the team concept.

• Players and coaches will strive to win our first game.

• Players and coaches will strive to win the Metro Suburban Conference Championship.

• Players and coaches will strive to earn a trip to the IHSA Football Playoffs.

• Players and coaches will strive to win the IHSA Class 6A State Championship.

• Coaches will play an active role in preparing and promoting the players to continue their education and possibly their football careers beyond high school.
